Geum Yeon (Michelle) Sim, MD is a fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist at Alliance Spine & Pain's Augusta, Georgia location. Dr. Sim's mission is to utilize her outstanding training to provide comprehensive, cutting-edge pain management services to her patients. Dr. Sim completed her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Ewha Woman's University in Seoul, South Korea. Afterward, Dr. Sim completed a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where she also served as the Chief Resident, followed by a pain medicine fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
