About Dr. Lingam

Rao Lingam, MD has been treating patients with chronic pain from Ohio and its neighboring states since 1979. Dr. Lingam is passionate about bringing his personalized care to Dublin, Ohio, and is the most experienced interventional pain management physician in the Central Ohio area.

Dr. Lingam graduated from Andhra Medical College in Andhra Pradesh, India, and completed his training in general surgery in India. He went on to complete a residency in Anesthesiology and subsequent pain management training at the University of Miami in Florida. He then joined the Department of Anesthesiology at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

Dr. Lingam helped establish the pain management fellowship program at The Ohio State University Medical Center, serving as Director of the program. He also founded the first "pain clinic" in Columbus at The Ohio State University, which he then developed into the Ohio State Center for Pain Control and served as its Director.

Dr. Lingam was also an associate professor of anesthesiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Associate Chairperson of the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Lingam is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Lingam has now assumed the esteemed title of Physician Emeritus. Dr. Lingams tireless dedication to the field of medicine, his commitment to patient care, and his outstanding contributions have left an incredible mark on our practice and the lives he has touched.
