About Dr. McNicol

Dr. Andrew McNicol is an interventional pain management physician dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care. He specializes in treating both acute and chronic pain conditions using a comprehensive approach that focuses on reducing pain, restoring mobility, and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.

Dr. McNicol completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where he also completed his residency in Anesthesiology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University after graduating from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Working closely with each patient, Dr. McNicol develops individualized treatment plans that combine advanced interventional procedures with conservative therapies when appropriate. His goal is to help every patient achieve meaningful pain relief while improving their overall function and independence.
