About Abby Pennington, PA-C

Abby Pennington, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Associate with nearly two decades of experience caring for patients across a variety of specialties, including pain management, cardiology, and internal medicine. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

Abby earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky, where she also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Promotion and Kinesiology. Throughout her career, she has provided comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, bringing extensive experience in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and collaborative care. Abby is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associates (NCCPA) and is a Fellow Member of both the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Kentucky Academy of Physician Associates (KAPA). She is proud to serve patients at Pain Treatment Centers of the Bluegrass – Lexington, helping them achieve meaningful pain relief and improved quality of life.
