New Surgery Center in Lafayette Earns ‘Top Tier’ Accreditation

The Lafayette Surgery Center, a new ambulatory center, recently earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

The Lafayette Surgery Center began seeing patients in March and April this year, and just recently earned accreditation from the AAAHC, which is the highest form of accreditation an ambulatory center can receive, according to Dr. Joseph Rutledge, medical director of the center.
