The Pain Treatment Center of the Bluegrass is the largest freestanding facility in the Central Kentucky area dedicated to pain treatment. Founded in 1993 by Ballard D. Wright, M.D., the Center specializes in treating patients for whom traditional medical and surgical methods have failed to alleviate their pain.
Our Physician Practice is the heart of our patient care facility, and it’s where most of our pain management treatment takes place.
Ballard Wright, MD, PSC (PSC) main office building located at 2416 Regency Rd is an approximately 15,000-square foot-office building composed of 30 examination rooms for new patient evaluations, office visits, minor procedures, and psychological assessments. It also houses our diagnostic/imaging department and our in-house lab.

To support such specialists, we have a dedicated team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants, as well as Behavioral Medicine Specialists, who work alongside our physicians to provide treatment to our patients.
Ballard Wright, MD, PSC also has two satellite clinics, dedicated to the treatment of pain, which are located in Richmond and Somerset, KY.
