Angela Hughes

CLO, General Counsel and Compliance Officer

Angela Hughes brings 20 years of legal experience to American Pain Consortium. Most recently, she was counsel for the AM Law 50 firm, Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP; where she defended the medical device industry in multidistrict litigation. Prior to Faegre Drinker, Angela spent ten years as the first in-house counsel at the publicly traded, global manufacturing company, Franklin Electric Co., Inc. With strong management abilities, Angela has experience in both creating a legal department and building a compliance program. In 2012 she was named a Top 10 Thirty-Something by the national organization, Association of Corporate Counsel. Angela is looking forward to using her legal experience and business acumen to balance APC’s legal requirements with its business needs.

Angela earned her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University; and her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law.
